"Sarah"
I first met Sarah when she was 90 years
old, that was three years ago. IMB Missionary, Troy Geddes
lived next to Sarah at that time and introduced us to her and her
son.
Although Sarah was very religious she was not a believer. Troy
had also shared the scriptures with Sarah several times. That
morning I too shared with Sarah my faith in Jesus Christ.
Sarah was very gracious to listen and ask questions but would only
say she was "too old" to change her religion.
Each year different team members would share their faith in Jesus
Christ with Sarah and her son.
Sarah would continue to say, "I am too old to change my religion."
Sarah is now 93 years old, almost 94. Our Heavenly Father has
granted her a long life but how tragic if Sarah doesn't come to know
Him.
Recently IMB Missionary, Randy Myers along with Justin Mc Ghinn, a short term
missionary living in Romania for two years, have been trying to
start a Bible study with Sarah.
Please pray that the doors will open for them and that Sarah and her
son will receive the Word. Pray that their hearts will be
warmed and that they will received Jesus Christ as their Lord and
Savior.
To believe in God is not enough, we must turn
from our ways and receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
You are never too old to turn your life
over to Jesus Christ!
