IGO is a ministry that was born out of the heart
of David A Groves,
President of International Gospel Outreach.
While David was taking teams on short-term mission
trips, churches began asking
him how they could become involved in
hands-on-missions. David began working
with churches and individuals
to assist them in their mission goals. The Lord laid it
on his heart
to form International Gospel Outreach Ministry in 2002. In 2007, the
Lord
directed David to resign as Senior Pastor of Living Word
Baptist Church, after 18 1/2 years of ministry, to work full time
with IGO. David will assist your church team, or
individuals, to become involved in short-term missions. He will train your team, and
if they desire, he will lead them to the mission field and
assist them in all aspects of
their mission efforts. David has been
a pastor for twenty-five years and is well qualified to lead and
train your team in effective short-term mission efforts.
